Making foot orthotics started with the desire to provide personal wellness for everyone as our greatest motivator. OUR TEAM

DFW Feet has strong partnerships with a team of several orthotists that have extensive education and rigorous licensing and certification training. Our team of orthotists are trained anywhere from making artificial limb prosthetic devices, orthopedic bracing for all parts, and building the best insoles and foot orthotics for great health. Our staff has spent countless hours of training and craftsmanship to produce the highest quality medical devices out there. Making our custom orthotics is a very labor-intensive task and must be done with extreme precision and training. We use the latest technology and capital equipment to produce a premier product that will last many years through wear and tear.

Jason Marshall, Director of Sales and Marketing

Jason got his pedorthic education at Frances Tuttle School of Technology and lab training at the Center for Foot and Ankle Restoration. Before founding DFW Feet, Jason has an extensive background in the athletics world. He was a director and head program coach at TCU and Georgia State University for 10 years and played professional tennis for 7 years. Jason was a former 2-time Big Ten Singles champion at Purdue University where he received is B.S. He also has an MBA from Texas A&M-Commerce and M.S. from Georgia State University.

Donna Lanemann, CO, LPO

Donna graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center with a Bachelor of Science in 1995. She also has a certificate in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Donna specializes in both orthotic and prosthetic management. She is involved with everything from post surgery to fitting people with the appropriate device.

Dinah is a certified orthotic assistant. She is responsible for managing the lab operations. She is a practitioner that evaluates and fits patients for prescribed orthotic management. She’s involved with everything from the initial cast of the patient, to modifying the model to the actual fabrication of the orthosis.

The durability can depend on a person's activity. While all materials will eventually break down, the more mileage A person has will depend on how long they last.

+ How often should you replace insoles?

Typically, they last longer than the duration of the shoe and can sometimes last through multiple shoe pairs. It is recommended to go no longer than three years in a pair of insoles before needing them replaced.

+ How to put insoles in shoes?

It’s important to take out the existing insoles that come with the shoes before putting in the new insoles. If not, it can add bulk to the fit and not be comfortable.

Every person has different needs. It really depends on the type of shoes you were wearing the insoles for and what your needs are whether it be more functional or accommodative in nature.

Jordan Ernst, DPM, MS

Dr. Ernst is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, providing comprehensive foot and ankle care for both the adult and pediatric patient. He has particular interests in reconstructive procedures, limb preservation, deformity correction, trauma, and congenital pediatric deformities. Dr. Ernst is passionate about providing a customized treatment plan for each individual patient in order to meet their needs and provide maximum functional improvement and quality of life.

Originally from Nebraska, he earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2010, and was accepted into the podiatric medicine and surgery program at Des Moines University in Iowa. His entrance to the program was deferred for one year while he served in Afghanistan with the Army National Guard as part of the 134th Cavalry Regiment. He returned home just in time to join the class of 2015. His residency training was completed locally at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth where he gained extensive experience in trauma and diabetic limb salvage.

To further his training, Dr. Ernst completed two fellowships at the Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida, under the direction of Dr. Brad Lamm, DPM and Dr. Dror Paley, MD, both recognized leaders in their fields. There he received advanced training in total ankle replacements, minimally invasive surgery, external fixation, and limb lengthening, as well as in the treatment of congenital pediatric deformities. The center is the foremost leader in the world in limb lengthening and the treatment of complex orthopedic deformities. Dr. Ernst feels blessed to have been part of such an amazing team and to have had the privilege of treating patients from around the globe.

Dr. Ernst feels privileged to join such a distinguished group of physicians here at TIOS. He is dedicated to continuing the tradition of outstanding patient care and clinical outcomes as well as furthering the profession, having been published in multiple journals and textbooks as well as having spoken at local and national conferences.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Ernst is dedicated to his faith as well as the pursuit of fitness and nutrition goals. He enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family, including his nine nieces and nephews.
